Transferring to ISS

​​From 1 October, 2025, as part of the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) Workplace Services Programme, ISS will deliver cleaning, catering, technical services, and workplace experience services to the DWP sites across the UK. If you work in these areas, your job may transfer to ISS under 'TUPE' regulations. Your current employer will confirm if you are in scope for transfer to ISS.

ISS is extremely excited about the new partnership and the opportunities it brings.

You and the team delivering the services are critical to its success.

Preparation for the change is underway with an ISS mobilisation project team and workstream specialists who are working with DWP to further understand the current delivery.

TUPE legislation applies to transferring colleagues which means communication and engagement is limited to certain activities until the start of the new contract but we are pleased to be hosting the following sessions to get to know you and answer any questions you may have.

Town Halls - ISS introduction Sessions

During March and April, ISS hosted presentations at key DWP sites across England, Scotland and Wales. The ISS team shared information about ISS, talked about the new partnership with DWP and explained the next steps. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us.

Next Stage - Meeting you individually in our 121s

Over the coming months, we will be arranging individual appointments to discuss what the change means to you and answer any questions you may have. These meetings will take place in July, August and September at sites near you. Look out for more details soon about how we will arrange these and what you need to bring.
