



Catherine is the senior lead responsible for DWP and all of our contracts in the Government sector. A successful member of the ISS UK & Ireland Senior Leadership Team, Catherine has extensive knowledge and experience having transferred into ISS in 2006 and with over 30 years in the FM industry.

James has been appointed as the senior lead responsible for DWP contract. He has been part of the ISS UKI SLT for around three years and has been instrumental in the introduction and development of tools and programmes to support Supervisors and Managers across the UK & Ireland.

With a background in commercial and public sector facilities management, Andrew joined ISS in 2022 where he has led some of our large, public sector key contracts.

Where you might see Andrew: With responsibility for the mobilisation of the contract with DWP, Andrew will be working closely with the customers and colleagues transferring to ISS. He will be visiting various DWP sites over the coming months and presenting at some of the Town Hall sessions.

Dev has had experience of leading many different and large-scale TFM contracts within ISS such as Burberry, LEGO, Samsung, Royal Mail and most recently in the mobilisation of the Government Department, Defra.

Where you might see Dev: Dev will be bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to the DWP contract and will be heavily involved in the operations and governance across all sites and soft services to ensure we deliver and transition the services from 1st October onwards. He'll also be present at the Town Halls and 121 discussions to get to know colleagues transferring to ISS.

Having worked with the government sector in ISS for over 20 years, Sarah has a huge amount of experience delivering integrated workplace services for our customers. She is joining the DWP mobilisation project team from our contract with the Government Property Agency (GPA) where she was based in Whitehall, London.

Where you might see Sarah: Sarah will initially be involved in the Town Halls and 121 discussions with colleagues transferring to ISS to get a full understanding of the services being delivered. After that, she will be working with the transferring team to ensure we deliver an excellent standard of Workplace Services across the DWP estate.

Steven has been with ISS for eight years working across several public sector contracts including leading TFM services at University of West of Scotland. We’re pleased that Steven will be bringing his operational experience and expertise to the mobilisation of the DWP contract.

Where you might see Steven: Steven is based in Central Scotland so will be focused in the North. You might spot him at the Town Halls and 121 discussions where he will be meeting individuals transferring to ISS. He is also leading the development of a great new initiative which will ensure compliance and competency across the contract - you'll hear more about that soon!

Having TUPE’d over to ISS from Mitie in April 2024 leading the operational team within Defra, Sarah has joined the DWP project team, bringing her experience of her transition along with her vast knowledge of mobilisation and TFM contracts to the DWP mobilisation.
Where you might see Sarah: Sarah is involved in various workstreams of the mobilisation, one area being the development and alignment of ISS and DWP processes whilst supporting the technology workstream ensuring systems are developed in line with operational requirements.

With a passion for people, Lauren’s areas of expertise include leadership, development and talent and with a background that is entirely focused on people, her core focus during the mobilisation will be the colleagues joining ISS.

Where you might see Lauren: Lauren will be overseeing the welcome of colleagues into ISS so will be leading the Town Hall and 121 schedules so that we can meet everyone. She will also be working to set up learning and development, inductions, career pathways and the management of talent joining ISS.

What Lauren's most excited for in the new contract with DWP: ‘People are the most important and essential element of the new DWP and ISS partnership and for the team transferring to ISS, this change may be unsettling. After spending time in the Armed Forces, Liam joined ISS to work in Projects and Engineering and has delivered complex and high-value projects for customers such as asset replacement programmes for fabric and M&E across national estates, office refurbishments, renewable energy installations, dilapidations for offices and retail branch closure programmes.

Where you might see Liam: Liam will be involved in the Town Halls and 121 discussions with colleagues transferring to ISS. He will also be working with the DWP Capital Projects team to ensure that he fully understands the estate and the needs of DWP.

Thomas joined ISS in 2016 and has supported many new contracts and the transfer of colleagues into ISS including Government Property Agency (GPA), BEIS (Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) and Croydon University Hospital.

Where you might see Thomas: Hugely experienced in the TUPE process which is the transfer of individuals to a new organisation, Thomas will be leading the Town Hall and 121 schedules and ensuring we meet and onboard every individual joining ISS. He will be leading discussions with the unions and employee representatives throughout the consultation.

‘My most important job is to ensure that everyone transferring to ISS is fully informed and confident in the process and change of contract. Once we are through this transition, we’re looking forward to really engaging with our new team and welcoming them properly into the ISS family on 1st October.’

At ISS, we pride ourselves on having a dedicated and professional Project Management Office (PMO) function that ensures all projects are managed efficiently and effectively. Aurelija is an integral part, providing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.

Where you might see Aurelija: Based in London, Aurelija will be actively supporting the People & Culture, Social Value, and Health & Safety aspects of the contract, helping to facilitate 121 discussions and the smooth transfer of individuals to ISS. Her support will help to ensure a seamless transition for everyone involved.

‘I' will be supporting the team to make sure things are on track and that we have thought of everything! Ultimately, I'm really looking forward to welcoming many new colleagues to ISS and bringing to life the activities we have been diligently working on during the mobilisation.
